I’m Mike Keller, and I’ve been a photographer in the Charleston, WV, area for over 35 years. It’s interesting to carry a camera; it makes you a participant in events, whether you were invited or not. As Susan Sontag wrote, “The camera makes everyone a tourist in other people’s reality, and eventually in one’s own.” What kind of reality does my camera find? I’m never sure.
